If you have kids under 12, you’ve probably seen The Lego Movie. If you haven’t, don’t worry. It’s the classic archetypal story of the seemingly average person who discovers his or her extraordinary abilities when the time is right, thus saving the world. It’s wacky and brilliant and there’s lots of life lessons and quotable quotes jam-packed into its one hour and 40 minutes.
When we thought about it, The Lego Movie also seemed like a pretty fitting way for us to talk about our team—the one we have now and the one we want to keep building.
Are you the most important, most talented, most interesting and most extraordinary person in the universe? No? That’s okay. As long as you step up when the time is right, that’s good enough for us.

For us, the team is the key to realizing our potential. That’s why we love the theme song to The Lego Movie (all irony aside—after all, Lord Business played the song over and over to brainwash his citizens). Taken at face value, the lyrics kind of sum up our belief in teamwork and self-actualization. Everything is awesome when you’re part of a team and living your dream.
Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when you’re part of a team
Everything is awesome when we’re living our dream
